Long-lasting freedom from worry for you!

A complete denture, especially if it is placed on implants, is a many times more complex and complicated task. It requires special knowledge, equipment and experience. Here is a common problem, for example: in 30% of completely toothless patients with an implant-supported fixed bridge, smaller or larger pieces of the usual porcelain and zirconia dentures continuously break off (because the sensory receptors of the teeth are missing and, therefore, the chewing movements of patients with implants are uncontrolled, which overloads their dentures). Because of this, special dentures must be made. A regular implantologist-dentist does not need to know how to make these special, fixed dentures. This also makes HALÁSZ CLINIC a specialist: we offer various solutions for this single, but not trivial, problem.

The most well-known solution. It is attractive and biocompatible. The dentures and bridges, which are bonded onto implants or teeth, are made of zirconia: the ceramic veneer burnt onto the extra strong, matt white zirconia framework gives the final and individual aesthetics. Its alignment accuracy is by orders of magnitude higher than that of conventional porcelain, and therefore it does not lead to tartar and plaque forming, which results in a lower risk of receding gums and tooth decay.

The most common problem with porcelain and zirconia (now more traditional at HALÁSZ CLINIC) dentures is the ceramic veneer chipping off. Transparent zirconia cannot chip off. The matt white zirconia base material has been improved and has become more aesthetic and more transparent. The entire denture is therefore made of extremely hard and strong zirconia, without a ceramic veneer.

The denture can be screwed directly onto the implant – leaving out the titanium abutment. It is more attractive; the screw-retained denture cannot fall off, and yet it can still be removed without damage; there is no crown margin closure beneath the gum, which might cause the gum to recede. The 1.5-mm inlet opening of the retaining screw is closed with a white sealant. It requires the highest level of precision – our Procera screw-retained crowns and bridges are made in Sweden, and the ceramic veneer is burnt onto them by our dental technicians.

These are so new that they do not even have an agreed name. They eliminate the disadvantages of previous dentures. Besides meeting the highest aesthetic requirements, they are characterised by trouble-free durability and are easy to repair. The screw-retained zirconia (or titanium) denture consists of 12 to 14 individual lithium disilicate crowns bonded onto a framework. It is designed to be placed on implants because of the strain due to the increased bite strength.

A special fixed bridge designed exclusively for cases treated with the All-on-4 technique. The titanium-acrylic bridge is retained on the four implants by screws. The All-on-4 technique was designed keeping comfort, aesthetics and simplicity in mind (and received innovation awards for these properties), and its price is somewhat more favourable
